Use three simple steps.
When a child is struggling, families can feel overwhelmed. Start small. Write down what you notice, talk to someone, and ask for one clear next step.
1
Notice
Write down what you see. What is hard for your child? When does it happen most? What seems to help?
2
Ask
Talk to the teacher, counselor, parent coordinator, or your child's doctor. Bring the examples you wrote down.
3
Plan
Ask what will happen next, who will help, and when you will check on progress together.
Important reminder. You do not need to know the exact language before asking for help. It is okay to say:
"I am worried, and I need someone to explain my options."
